Joyce Davis is President of Square One Creative, LLC, which offers strategic marketing, branding and creative services to businesses. She guides organizations in discovering their own creative resources — helping them to stand out from their competition, package their unique value clearly, and communicate it effectively in order to connect with their target markets.
She relocated from San Francisco to Richmond 8 years ago. Her experience includes over 25 years serving as an award-winning art director, creative director and marketing designer for many of the largest ad agencies and marketing design firms in the San Francisco Bay Area. With her own business, she has served as marketing consultant and adviser to many corporate and small businesses and non-profits.
National brands she’s worked with include Wells Fargo Bank, Hewlett-Packard, LeapFrog Toys, Clorox Brands, Hunt/Wesson, Pillsbury, and locally for Genworth and Capital One.
She holds a design degree from San Jose State University, and did graduate work in advertising at Art Center College of Design in Southern CA. She volunteers her time to a number of local and national trade and environmental organizations, and non-profits.
